Spring Youth Soccer

This spring (April, May, and June) we are going to run our 14th annual spring soccer program. Due to field constraints teams will not train during the week. Teams will train and play on “game day”, Saturdays.

Tentative dates for the PreK - 2nd grades are: April 18 to June 6, seven games. No games on Memorial Day Weekend. 3rd - 8th grade games are tentatively scheduled to begin on April 4th and run through the middle of May, seven games.

There will not be any weekday practices. The structure will be that each team (PreK-2nd) will have roughly a 1 hour 15 minute time slot each Saturday and they will hold a practice for 30 minutes followed by a game for 40-45 minutes. 3rd - 8th grades will play a regular game each weekend. 

Team formation will be by sign up date and we will form teams based on school attending. At this point the plan is for teams to be coed at Pre-K and Kinder then gender based in 1st through 8th grades. We may have to combine age groups if we do not have enough numbers but we are planning on keeping them separate.

Pre-K through 1st grade will play 3v3, 2nd grade 4v4, 3rd & 4th grade 7v7, 5th & 6th 9v9, 7th & 8th 11v11. 

Games/Trainings will be held at local area fields for Pre-K through 2nd and in Clackamas, Canby, Oregon City etc. for grades 3 through 8th. We will likely not have space for the 3rd-8th grade teams in LO so their "home" and away games will be outside of Lake Oswego. If we are able to host games for the 3rd– 8th grade teams we will do that but please plan on possibly not having home games.

The cost for the program will be $105.00, same as the Spring of 2025.

Like our fall youth soccer season we will rely on volunteer coaches to help with the coaching of teams. You can volunteer during the player registration process. You will be notified when we are forming teams if you are selected.

Uniforms - please visit the link at Tursis Soccer Store. The "kit" includes both Blue and White jerseys as well as Blue shorts and Blue socks.

We project the following timeline:

Jan 15th  - Registration Open (registration will continue to remain open through the season – However, when teams are full we will no longer place players onto those teams. Players will be placed on teams where there are available positions).

Registration for ALL grades (Pre-K-8th) closes on March 26th (Waitlist after 3/26)

March 19th - Team formation begins

April 4th - First Game (3rd - 8th grade)

April 18th – First Game (PreK - 2nd grade)

TBD - Final Game (3rd - 8th grade)

June 6th - Final Game (PreK - 2nd grade)
