Girls Juniors Program

Training Structure

Over the past three years, we have been using the training method “Play, Practice, Play”. This involves players arriving to practice and scrimmaging right away, this may be a Small Sided Game (3v3, 4v4 or 5v5) or sometimes a bigger scrimmage of 7v7. The players will then take part in the Practice section where coaches will lead the players through a couple of drills, usually a topic the coach believes they need work on from the game at the weekend or just in general and then the players will finish with playing again.

Across the previous three years, we have seen players really grow by training this way. We believe it allows players to develop skills whilst in a game environment, practice those skills in drills and then perfect those skills with the full pressure of a scrimmage and an opponent at the end. Our coaches are encouraged to pause scrimmages and give in game instructions/feedback to players to help them develop whilst feeling comfortable in a live game.

LOSC Girls Juniors Program

If our staff or coaches feel that the program is not an appropriate fit for your player you will be refunded and advised to pursue our Fall and Spring Youth Soccer Programs.

The Girls Juniors program runs year round on Monday and Wednesday 4-5pm.

All communication for training, tournaments and games is done through the Playmetrics  app.

with about 10 days before the start of each season / program is due to start we will launch our Playmetrics communication accounts and invite parents to the appropriate team or training pool.

In the Playmetrics app is  where you will find a practice and game schedule and a messaging system used to communicate with families and coaching staff.

Playmetrics also has its own availability function which is heavily utilized for roster creation and training numbers for planning purposes.

You can register using the register now button below.
